This five day Iceland adventure offers an immersive journey through the country’s most iconic and diverse landscapes. The experience begins with the famous Golden Circle, where you will explore Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, marvel at the raw power of Gullfoss waterfall, and witness the geothermal activity of the Geysir area. Continuing along the South Coast, you will visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall with its unique walk behind experience before settling near Vik for the night. The second day showcases the beauty of Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and the sparkling ice formations at Diamond Beach, with the option to add a thrilling Crystal Ice Cave tour. On the return trip, enjoy the charm of Vik or relax at your hotel while soaking in the dramatic glacier and coastal views. The third day features Reynisfjara black sand beach with its striking basalt columns, a glacier hiking experience, and a visit to the mighty Skogafoss waterfall.
The adventure continues on the fourth day with a trip to the enchanting Snaefellsnes Peninsula, often referred to as Iceland in miniature. Here, you will explore the scenic cliffs of Arnarstapi, admire the iconic Kirkjufell mountain alongside its picturesque Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall, and stroll along the black sands of Djupalonssandur beach. All of this unfolds under the presence of the majestic Snaefellsjokull glacier, steeped in natural beauty and literary history. The journey concludes with an exploration of the Reykjanes Peninsula, where moss covered lava fields lead to the awe inspiring landscapes of Geldingadalur Valley and the Fagradalsfjall and Meradalir volcanoes. If time allows, you may also visit the colorful geothermal area of Seltun Hot Springs.
