Embark on a truly unique adventure that will take you to one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world — the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, recognized by Condé Nast Traveler magazine as one of the seven most wonderful places on Earth. Your journey begins early in the morning from El Calafate, traveling 80 km through stunning Patagonian landscapes until you reach the walkways directly in front of the glacier. Here, you’ll have ample time to explore the interconnected paths and stairways leading to various viewpoints, each offering a different yet equally mesmerizing perspective of this colossal ice formation. The sound of cracking ice and the sight of massive chunks breaking off into the water make this an unforgettable spectacle.
The adventure continues with an approximately one-hour boat trip along the Rich Branch of Argentino Lake, bringing you as close as 150 meters from the glacier’s imposing southern face. This vantage point allows you to fully appreciate the glacier’s scale and shimmering blue hues from a truly unique perspective on the water. Please remember that entry to Los Glaciares National Park is not included in the tour price — you’ll need to purchase your ticket for “Río Mitre y Glaciar Perito Moreno” either in advance via the official website or on the day of the tour, payable in pesos by cash or credit card at the park entrance.
