Embark on a private day hike through the remote and untouched Taga Mountains, just outside of Brașov, near Piatra Craiului National Park. This off-the-beaten-path trek takes you along unmarked forest roads that open up to breathtaking panoramic views over the Southern Carpathians. The hike offers a unique glimpse into the beauty of Burzenland, a historic and ethnographic region in southeastern Transylvania also known as “The Little Transylvania,” home to a diverse mix of Romanian, German, and Hungarian cultures.
As you journey through deep forests and open meadows blooming with wildflowers, take in the spectacular views of Piatra Mare, Postăvarul, Baiului Mountains, Bucegi Natural Park, Iezer-Păpușa, Făgăraș Mountains, and Piatra Craiului. The trail provides perfect vantage points for photography, offering some of the most scenic perspectives in the region.
