Altos de Chavón is a captivating Mediterranean-style village perched high above the Chavón River in the Dominican Republic. Known as the "City of Artists," this picturesque town is home to a renowned design school that offers programs in Fashion Design, Graphic and Digital Arts, Fine Arts, and Illustration. Designed by Roberto Copa, a famed set designer for Paramount Pictures, Altos de Chavón is a stunning recreation of a European village, featuring charming cobblestone alleys, rustic houses, a beautiful church, fountains, a Roman amphitheater, a cultural center, and an archaeological museum.

Our tour to Altos de Chavón begins with private transportation from your hotel, taking you west along the scenic Dominican highway. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a guided walk through the village, with breathtaking views of the Chavón River and its lush, untouched surroundings. You’ll have approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to explore this artistic and historical gem, fully immersed in its unique atmosphere.
