During our driving tour, I will guide you through some of the most fascinating places in Armenia, sharing captivating stories that bring the country’s rich history and culture to life. My goal is to make the tour both fun and informative, ensuring you have a memorable experience while providing any assistance you might need even after your trip. Together, we will explore the diverse landscapes and hidden gems that showcase Armenia’s unique charm and heritage.
One of the highlights of our journey will be a stop at Sevanavank Monastery, located on the shores of the high-altitude Lake Sevan—the largest body of water in Armenia and the entire Caucasus region. Founded in 874 AD by Princess Mariam, daughter of King Ashot, the monastery sits on a peninsula that was once an island before the artificial draining of Lake Sevan during Joseph Stalin’s era caused the water level to drop about 20 meters. From there, we will continue to Dilijan, a charming forested town famous for its spa resorts and traditional craft workshops, nestled within the lush surroundings of Dilijan National Park. This peaceful area offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
