Begin your creative experience by meeting your host at Cerciz Topulli Square before taking a short three-minute walk to Master Nurce’s workshop, a place where traditional woodworking skills come alive. Upon arrival, you’ll be introduced to different types of wood and learn about their unique qualities and uses. Your host will provide general information about the craft, helping you understand the tools and techniques involved. You will then choose what you want to create—whether it’s a small wooden sign with personalized text or drawings, a delicate necklace, a key hanger, or even a small mirror. This is your chance to express your creativity by designing your piece first on paper, giving you a clear plan before the carving begins.
Under the careful guidance of Master Viktor Nurce, you’ll begin carving your design, gaining hands-on experience with traditional woodwork techniques. Throughout the session, you can relax and enjoy some local hospitality with glasses of Rakia or homemade wine, depending on your preference. This intimate workshop not only teaches you valuable skills but also immerses you in Albanian culture through both craftsmanship and conviviality. At the end of the session, you’ll have a unique handcrafted souvenir to take home—something made by your own hands and infused with the spirit of this special place.
