Discover one of the most scenic and adventurous experiences around Antigua with this unique tour, available on two types of vehicles: all-terrain ATVs or the traditional Guatemalan shuttle, also known as the “pick-up truck.” Whether you choose the thrill of an ATV or the local flavor of the pick-up, this journey offers an immersive way to explore Antigua’s stunning landscapes and cultural landmarks, all while enjoying panoramic views and outdoor adventure.

Your first stop is the iconic Cerro de la Cruz, a breathtaking viewpoint perched about 5,000 feet above sea level. This is one of Antigua’s most beloved landmarks, offering a sweeping aerial view of the colonial city, surrounding villages, and the dramatic backdrop of volcanoes and lush valleys. It’s the perfect way to begin the tour, taking in the geography and beauty of the region from above.

Next, you’ll head to Earth Lodge, a peaceful eco-lodge and avocado plantation nestled in the mountain village of El Hato. This relaxing stop gives you time to connect with nature, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and experience the tranquil charm of Guatemalan highland life. Afterward, a pick-up truck ride takes you to the final and highest stop—Alta Mira. Located at an impressive 7,600 feet above sea level, Alta Mira is a unique eco-park filled with hiking trails, artistic installations, and photo-worthy spots. You’ll take a short hike through the forest, visit the famous “Hands” sculpture, and have the option to explore other activities like the bicycle canopy ride or simply relax and take in the magnificent views of the valley and volcanoes.
